Questions
Who are you, and why build this without asking?
Parallax Studio is Scott Morgan's web studio in Poole. We take a business's existing website and build it a better one, then show it. Nobody briefed us, and nobody owes us anything for looking.
Is something wrong with my current site?
Not necessarily. Most small business websites were built once and left. This one is built from yours, so the differences are what we would talk you through: what a phone shows first, what Google can read, and whether ChatGPT recommends you when someone asks it who to use. Ask, and Scott will walk you through what we found.
What happens to my current site and my domain?
Nothing until you say so. When the new site goes live it goes live on your own web address, and every old address forwards to the new page. The address stays registered where it is.
Can I change the wording or a photograph?
Yes. Wording, a photograph, a price, an opening time, a colour that is wrong: say so and it is changed before it goes live. After it goes live, changes are quoted first, so nothing is charged without you agreeing it.
What does it cost, and is there anything monthly?
£350, once, by card. No monthly fee and nothing to renew with us. Hosting is included. Your web address stays registered with Cloudflare, Inc., and we add no charge to it. Whoever renews it today carries on renewing it.
What happens after I pay, and how long does it take?
Scott writes within one working day. You tell us the changes, you sign it off, we send you the exact steps for your web address, and it is usually live the same day it switches.
What about my ordering, booking and social links?
They keep working. The new site uses the same links your current site does, into the same systems. Nothing about how orders, bookings or messages reach you changes.
What if I do not want it?
Nothing happens. The page stays up for a while and then comes down. Nobody is charged for looking, and nobody will chase you.
Card details are typed on Stripe's own page. Parallax Studio never sees them.
